About Me
  I’m a proud long-term resident of O’Fallon who believes in  listening to concerns and representing you on the city council in a way that  each individual feels valued and treated fairly.
  
  I believe that O’Fallon is on a good path and I am running for Alderman to  serve our city and encourage smart, sustainable growth through a plan that is  diverse and fiscally responsible.

  O’Fallon resident since July 2007
  USDA (& DHS) employee for 18+ years
  Actively Volunteer in District 90 Schools ever week for 10+ years
  Led Cub Scouts & All Pro Dad Program at LaVerna Evans Elementary School
  Coached: Soccer, Basketball & Lacrosse (currently) through Parks & Rec
  Active in Methodist Church
Family 
  My wife, Lisa  and I have been married for 18 years. We have two children: Maddy a sophomore  at OTHS, and Ben in 7th grade at Carriel. Missy and Maggie, two small dogs  complete our family. 
Coaching Kids  In Our Community 
  I've coached  Little Panthers Football, soccer and basketball through Parks & Rec, and  currently coach lacrosse with O'Fallon STYX.
Volunteering In  The Schools 
  I have  volunteered in the schools every week since 2008. I led the All Pro Dad Program  at Evans for 6 years. I've led cub scouts, and many book fairs. I served as  President of the Carriel PTO for 2 yr
Faith 
  I'm an active  member of the Methodist church. I have served as a trustee, usher, emergency  response team, vacation bible schools, and various missions. 
Diversity 
Ward 6 has it  all. Single family homes, duplexes, apartments, small businesses, agricultural  fields, schools, a park, churches, and even City Hall. The areas around us are  some of the fastest growing.
Accountability 
  I have the time  and concern for our community to invest in it on city council. I pledge to make  myself available to listen to the concerns of those in my ward and represent  them to the city council.
Transportation 
  O'Fallon is  perfectly situated for growth and is very inviting to large scale business  development. Our proximity to St Louis and the interstate system and two  airports is very beneficial.
Additional Tax  Information 
  The sales tax  is 1% city and 6% IL Fuel Tax is fixed by IL O'Fallon has no input on OTHS,  D90, or township taxes. In 2017 the property tax rate was lowered to 2012 level  and may go lower. 
Sale Of Water  System 
  The city owns  all water and most sewer systems servicing our community. In researching other  communities that have sold their systems, they no longer control the rates and  repairs take longer.

  Redrawing  Boundaries Reorganization Finance - new tax rates and salary differences

Agricultural field across from the Blade building on Pierce Blvd & Green  Mount Rd.
Southview Plaza, not in Ward 6 but adjacent to it and will affect our  traffic.
Lake drainage South of Pierce Blvd.
